They are brighter than stock, there is not much difference between high and low beams. I do not have any difficulty seeing at night with these. The original reason I got them because I thought my stock headlights were failing, turns out the wire from the alternator was broken, causing the headlights to look super dim.
Utilized the stock buckets no modifications required.
Stock blinkers still work.
Yes the halos are on in the photo, you will need to run a separate switched power supply to them.
I have had them for two years now and I get positive responses.
Ignore my awful grill inserts they are been replaced with new ones.

...JPG37 , YOUR THE MAN ,
I found out this afternoon while continuing to refresh my headlight assembly , I HAVE HALOGEN LAMPS .
Had the truck about 10 years & just know realized I have ancient halogens .
I have seen Sylvania on the lamp but never noticed HALOGEN right below it . I had them out before and the stock connector is still there so I never suspected anything
Now , will I need a connector adapter to connect new L.E.D.s to my stock connector ? If PO installed a relay I do not see any wire splices , but have not looked behind the bucket .
So since I need a relay I may as well install L.E.D.s......Do I need to change my stock adapter ?
I looked at the lights on Ebay & see it may have said it an adapter was included
during my recent research some States have brightness laws . I think some are 30 watts , some 60 watts , not sure what exactly . These lights are 90watts...... on High beam If not much difference in high & low , I might get a ticket . I will check with my DMV
Ya'll r such great help.......... ...
.
P.S. Just rechecked Ebay & 2 adapters are included !!! Well 2 LED Canbus & H4/H13 Adapter , is my stock connector H4 / It must be because the current Halogen is plugged in
JPG37 , did you have any trouble hiding the adapters ?
My main remaining concern is having to trim the buckets...........I know you did not have to , but my luck I will......oh no.....ha...

But again, that's just my opinion.

However, Holley came out with a line of LED headlamps that look pretty clean, and I've been considering getting a pair for my '68.

You are not the only one as I dont like the look of anything else.
You also have to look at them and I bet all the cheap ones are NOT DOT legal.
Take the $46 one above are they DOT legal I bet not.
You may think the light out put is good or even great from the drivers seat but everyone coming at you is blinded.

I run replacement sealed beam Halogen bulbs with a relay kit and really like the light out put and pattern and because it is a sealed replacement it is DOT legal/
Because I have a 81 it uses the large square bulbs

I use the Xtra Vision bulbs

For get the LED's and more so being you have the Halogen bulbs just get the relay kit as that will give the bulbs a full 12 volts.
I got mine from LMC it is Plug N Play.

If the plugs on your bulbs go right into the trucks harness then no relays installed in your truck.
Do the relays with your bulbs and if you stll dont like the out put get the LED but I dont think you will need them.
Lust so you know I do drive my truck a lot to work and I am at work between 12am and 3am so a lot of head lights on and we dont have a lot of street lights here.

I think my halogens are low wattage & may not need a relay .

Do these need a relay ???
This is from Dennis Carpenter :
I am confused as to WHY a relay is needed ? I know others say lamps flicker , but not sure why they flicker . Some seem to come with adapters & others do not . These do not come with adapters . I am thinking these are 65 watts or less is why they do not flicker .
I have not used my headlights enough to know if they flicker ...........so sad...........

All head lights can use or need relays no matter what they are.
If you measure the voltage at the lights you will see it is not 12 volts. this is because power comes from the battery to the fuse box to the light switch then to the dimmer switch and out to the bulbs. Add to that is the wire is small and old all adds up to low volts at the bulbs.

Add the relays and power is coming from the battery to the relay to the bulbs.
The light switch is only used to switch the relay on & off.
Also with the relays installed you can install any type of bulbs you want.
