Engine light reset will not stay off

My 2017 F350 is at the shop. They said engine code was exhaust pump. Replaced it. Reset the code and 20 mins later code returned. They have been doing end to end wire pin checks for weeks with no success. Anyone have any experience or knowledge on this issue?

Exhaust pump?

Let's start with the basics, assuming it's a diesel?

They tell you the codes?

Sounds like an incompetent shop.

Yeah, no exhaust pump.
Give details on the truck and the code it is showing.

they maybe incomoetent for modern diesel emissions.

Lets start with a code and what has actually been replaced....and on your dime no less.
