Code 311 bypass?

I recently removed my smog pump and ran a shorter belt. I am getting a KOER 311 thermactor code. Is there a way to bypass the electronics to eliminate this code?

No, there is no way to bypass that error except put everything back. It will not trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL) so just ignore it when running the KOER tests.

OK. I have a check engine light but also have a 327 code. I was trying to eliminate issues, but if 311 doesn’t throw a CEL, that helps! Thanks.

yes. I watched a how to diagnose video today. Im going to see what I can find out tomorrow. I want to keep EGR.

So a tuner can change which items are checked during the Key On Engine Running tests?
If it does have that function then I still find it an expensive option just to keep from seeing an error during the KOER tests.
