OEM Lug Nut Replacement

Hi All,

Every thread I found on this topic was 5-10 years old and a lot of the links provided were dead, putting my OEM wheels back on the truck to get it ready to sell ahead of the 2024 I ordered being delivered. Factory takeoffs are swollen/damaged from when I had the suspension done last year. Even if I could get them on without having to hammer the socket onto each one, they look terrible and dont want to give prospective buyers something to gripe about unnecessarily.

Anyone know if these are any good?

Thanks in advance!

Nevermind, found these on the Tremor forum, a little bit more expensive but known quality. Leaving this here in case it helps anyone else...

I swapped my original capped lugs for chrome ones after the capped ones started swelling. I am going back to the capped ones. The chrome plating has cracked and they are rusting and it looks even worse.

If you do go chrome I would recommend against using an impact on them and also see if it can use a socket that won't damage the chrome platings. OEM lug were good for 4-5 years the chrome is rusting within 2 years.

Op said he was putting them on to sell the truck. He won’t have it long enough to see rust.

I guess it's okay to use them if you don't care about the next guy.
