quality replacement lugnuts

Wife has the 20" wheels with the chrome lugnuts. They are starting to get deformed a bit and on the last rotation I had to beat the socket on 5-6 of them. What are some good quality replacement lugnuts?

Gorilla has what you’re looking for and is the most popular option.

Also, Costco offers replacements for the F150 lug nuts that are prone to swelling up and failing.

I put Gorilla on mine.
They started rusting after 6 months.
Gorilla sent replacements that I have not used.

What Ill probably do is go back to the original SS ones.
Then change them back to Gorillas when someone else is likely to work on the tire.

I can get the 5 or 6 I need fairly cheap.

* If you are careful and make sure you get the socket all the way on the originals, they are fine.
The issue starts when the socket is not put all the way on.
The actual "lug nut" under the stainless cap is slightly tapered.

On Edit:
Looks like Rock Auto is selling a Dorman replacement that replaces the SS capped ones.
I would probably try those.

ON EDIT 2:
I'm not a fan of Gorilla, but CJ Pony parts has them on sale.
Gorilla 61148CX F-150 Lug Nut Kit Factory-Style Bulge Chrome 2015-2020/Raptor 2017-2020 (cjponyparts.com)
Maybe you will have better luck.

I'd look around the dismantelers and try to find some OEM's... All of the replacement lug nuts I have bought new were from China and made of very soft metal. Use lots of never-seize on them.

That's what happened to me. The fit is extremely tight and I didn't have the socket on as far as I thought and messed the ends up. Pounding the socket on with a hammer got them to work but they need to be replaced the next time they come off. I might just look into the OEM replacements form Rock Auto since the rest of them are good.

ETA. Looked on fordpartsgiant.com and I can get OEM lugnuts for $3.41/shipped.

McGard seem to be fan favorites. Kind of expensive.

I put Gorilla on mine when I changed wheels and haven't looked back. No issues here.

Changed mine on the Fusion to solid stainless steel. If you live where they salt the roads it penetrates between the plating and the nut and swells. Will do the same with the 2020 F-150 when it happens. @#$%^&*() Ford for not putting solid stainless on them as OEM.

No manufacturer will use solid stainless steel as standard equipment.

Is that like the old days when they said. "No manufacturer will ever install seat belts as standard equipment"?

Seatbelts were a federal government safety mandate. lugnuts aren't. Poor argument.

OEM lug nuts are a two piece design and they fail hence the reason for swapping them out for an aftermarket one piece design.

One thing we all can agree on:
This is an area Ford can improve on....and should.
We should not have to replace lug nuts ever, period.

It's not just Ford. Just how much more are you willing to pay for one of these trucks? They're crazy expensive as it is. And I'm talking XLT 302A.

I am willing to pay an extra $100 to have quality/ lasting lug nuts.
( I tried Gorilla)
Not every manufacturer is having this issue.
