As the title says, the overdrive indicator light on the shift lever went out while diving last weekend. Overdrive still working. A few miles down the road I was in a parking lot, and when I put it into reverse, the power to my reverse camera was not getting a signal. I don't know if it is a coincident that they both failed at the same time or if they are on the same circuit? Everything else seems to be working, brake lights, turn signals, overdrive. The head unit gets the signal that it's in reverse, but get a "no signal" notification from the reverse camera.
I have not yet dug into the wiring to see where the PO tapped power for the rear camera. And I can not figure out which fuse goes to the overdrive indicator light?
All other dash and console lights work.
Any ideas?
Mike

In regards to the OD light not working, the wires inside the shifter lever break causing the button to not turn OD off. Replacing the lever usually fixes the light issue.
Thanks Guy's, Both very helpful. I will check the fuse and also see if I can figure out where the camera power was taped into. If not the fuse, then off comes the shifter lever.
