Tilt steering column

This maybe opening up a can of worms that I don't need but here goes. How much of a hassle would it be to put a tilt steering column into a 1967 Ford F-100 2 wheel drive that currently has manual steering. I really would rather not use some kind of aftermarket stuff. Hopefully a Ford column. Thanks.

Here is a thread that has some info on using a 1979 tilt wheel from a F150 or Econoline:

As stated by ND these columns were used in 78-79 Broncos, F150-350's and Econolines. ND only posted parts that the parts book said would fit. You can use a column out of a 2WD or 4WD but on the 4WD column you will have to buy the rag joint adaptor. They were available from Wildhorses. The problem is all the columns were for PS which makes them too short for a manual steer truck. Ford used the exact same tilt mechanism in cars from the late 60's to the 80"s you might be able to find a car column that is long enough, and redneck engineer it in.
I have a 79 tilt column in my 65. Here is the downside, I've never found it very useful. The turn signal switch which operates the tilt on all these columns is expensive. And the part marked 3B661 in the parts page ND posted is what makes the tilt work. It is obselete, unobtainium except by mining one from another column. And they do go bad.

Here you go for info:
https://www.fordification.com/tech/tilt.htm
Almost all of them are super alloy un-obtanium. Some basic info needed: you have a manual steering column, but what trans do you have MT-3 speed, or MT-4 speed, or AT? If MT-3, FUHGETABOUTIT!!! There weren't very many made, and hardly any survived. Best best is a new replacement from Iditit or Flaming River.
Here is Iditit's 2wd AT column at JBG:

RichS659 My truck currently a 3 on the tree. But it is going to be swapped out for a 302/C-4. The reason I'd like a tilt wheel is there is to much of me from my knees to my feet and my knees hit the stock steering wheel. I have a Superior 500 steering wheel from the 60's that is smaller in diameter than the stock one so I might just go with it. Thanks to everyone who replied to my post.
