Got a 2017 ford f250 truck was running but needed a fuel system. Replaced fuel system with one straight out of another truck that needed a motor(bent pushrods and camshaft are up) but was still running pulled fuel system out the very next day installed on my truck. I didn’t have the fuel pressure regulator plugged in all the way and the truck ran for 30 seconds then died out and now it will turn over but not start. I’ve tried a different fuel rail 2 different HPFP 3 different regulators and still nothing. I’ve also tried bleeding air out of the system
No codes at all, the the fuel pressure goes to 249 and no higher. But it’s the same with 3 different high pressure fuel pumps. I’ve never seen one of these get on air(doesn’t mean it isn’t possible) also the the pump gear is timed correctly.

you mean you replaced the injectors, fuel ump, all lines between injectors and secondary filter?
there is a kit for this that has everything.
the fuel lines can hold a lot of air....key on wait 15 seconds..key off...repeat 10 to 15 times
the most common reason for your situation is that hpfp gets replaced but not the fuel rails and the fuel rails get full of metal shavings....each time you try to start under this senerio...the shavings in the fuel rail move to the injectors.
