oh... OBVIOUSLY youre gonna put it back to stock for the USA portion of the trip. We all know that, just wanna make sure it's said. with 2 handy people it's only a few hours of work.
actually, adding a exhaust cutout in line before the SCR would be slick, then run that through a muffler. flip of the switch and it bypasses the rocket ship setup. that way youre not actually removing anything.
Since you have experience in this stuff, is the MM V2, which is essentially the second version of the H&S MM, the Bully Dog I'd assume?
I honestly have no idea. if you're asking me. i do know they all are known to have pretty sub par pre loaded tunes. especially for the older trucks, as in, blow up the truck immediately lol.

Yeah I was because essentially the MM V2 looks to be exactly the same flash tuner as the current Bully Dog GT tuner, which obviously would be emissions complaint... they have the same look and same buttons. They look to be identical when it comes to the tuner/hardware but obviously not the tunes...
Why is "high" sulfur fuel prone to cause problems? Is it due to the after treatment, or something else? Sulfur is among other things a lubricant for the fuel system at least for pre-emission diesel fuel systems.
What problems does "high" sulfur fuel cause in the ULSD designed systems of newer engines?
It will plug the emissions controls and leave you stranded

The best delete setup will be with an AutoAgent EZLink 3 and AMDP tuning. Forget the bullydog and minimaxx stuff.
Contact Giovanni Aliperti with Xtreme Caliber Performance LTD out of Canada. Since you're in Germany and he's in Canada, the stupid US emissions laws shouldn't apply any more.
He knows these trucks and tuning very well. Considered the best tunes available right now.
He can also handle whatever hardware/parts you need too.
So are these MM V2 and EZ Link tuners OBD flash devices? Or do you have to physically replace PCMs and all that?
EZ-Link plugs in the OBD port. Once tuned you can remove it, or leave it plugged in to transmit data to your phone, tablet etc to monitor things if you want.

Yes they are...
Like Ginther said... any flash tuner, whether with emissions on tunes or delete tunes, hook up to the vehicle through the OBD2 port and "flashes" the ECM. It does not replace the truck ECM...

I think I read somewhere that the 2022's and up are encrypted and you have to send off your PCM for a reflash. I'll never know though cuz I'm not paying todays prices for a new(er) truck lol !!!

Yep forgot about that... 19 and prior you can flash the ECMs. The 20s plus, they are encrypted so you have to remove your brand new truck's computer and send it out to be "flashed..." yikes!!
It is not just Ford (I think they held out the longest), Gm has done it too, and I think Dodge/Ram. It was likely to keep the Gov. from dictating how they had to stop end users from changing the tuning so easy. Like back in the 60's GM got out of racing for a while to keep from being broken up, and more recently late 90's/early 2000's speed limiting motorcycles to 186 MPH/300KPH. It is always better to self regulate than let the Gov. get involved.

So his tunes are the most reliable? When I go this route, I want dead nuts reliability. I'm not looking for more power, the 6.7 is plenty for me already. I just want superior dependability.

A lot of the guys on the facebook 6.7 groups love his tuning. Supposedly the best and smoothest and also excellent transmission tuning to compliment the package.
I haven't deleted yet but if/when I do it'll be with his tunes.
