Anyone having issues getting a 5th wheel adapter plate to fit in a 2024? I took the puck adapter plate from my 2016 to install in my 2024 and it will only secure in 3 corners. I’m guessing the pucks aren’t all level?

When I put the B&W companion hitch into the Factory 5th wheel prep, I had to adjust each of the latch handles so that all 4 would latch properly. do you need t do the same? I did this by adjusting the nuts gholding the latch handles.
Thanks for feedback. Turns out my Reese adapter from my 2016 was out of whack. Dealer/owner and I tried it in another truck and never could get it to fit even after adjusting.
Dealer had a Ford OEM hitch and it fit just right in my truck. Ordered a new adapter plate today.

Somethings definitely off. I picked up my '24 DRW on Monday, drove down to JAX on Thursday to pick up a lightly used B&W Companion 25K and it popped right in with minimal adjustment. I had to work with the castle nuts to adjust the depth of the feet, but no other issues and it pulled my 42' toy hauler yesterday with no issues.
I found this forum discussion while searching for the exact same problem everyone describes. I just purchased a 2024 F350 in June with the OEM 5th wheel package and the B&W hitch does not go into the passenger side rear opening. Rather than trying to replace the OEM system or try to buy a different 5th wheel, I took a grinder and grinded maybe 1/16 inch off one corner of the oval extension that the latch cam screws into. The hitch then fell right in and I was able to latch all 4 corners. Because only part of one corner was grinded, there is no way the base can move in any direction because the other half of the corner prevents this. I am not recommending anyone else try this without knowing that by doing so, as other people have pointed out, you probably void any warranty from B&W and B&W may tell you it creates a safety issue. I will follow-up once I get it completely installed and have pulled my trailer with it (which is not due in until late August. All these posts have saved me a lot of headache. Thanks everyone !!!!!!!!!
Sometime it just takes some initiative and getting it done attitude.
If it works, it works.
I bought my trailer used, and the Curt 5th wheel hitch was included. It came out of the 2017 350 drw and dropped in to the 2022 350 srw with ease. And again no issues when I got my 2023 450....which I just sold.
