I' m looking to upgrade my 55 F-100 to disc front and drum rear. Has anyone heard of or used the Performance Online Kit #BBX-T5356? It's a power booster kit for under floor unit which states kit mounts where original master cylinder mounts. Also being able to use original brake pedal. This is a bolt on kit with no fabrication needed. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Have not used the kit you mentioned but I have the No-Limit Engineering kit undet my floorboard that uses the Mustang II booster and m/c. It uses the stock pedal and pedal location. Been there for over 25 years and never an issue. I love it.
Not sure about this kit. I have one under the floor from CPP with the power booster and had to add a remote fill kit as the hole in the floor didn't line up with the fill tank. Not the end of the world but just something to be aware of. Also if you will need the residual pressure valve as the disc and drums use different pressures. Disc use 2lb and drums at 10lbs. Including a pictures of mine. The remote fills are the aluminum CNC's by the Ace of Spades sticker.

I have to agree.
Two of the last four cars / trucks that I built had under floor and I am sure it was my fault but they never worked right.
My next (and last) project will have fire wall mounted master cylinder and booster.
I have come to keeping it simple without the stress over appearances that few will see and even fewer will care.
Do what you want to do and live with it.
