Ex- Envy
Ignorence is bliss!
I simply went to the local Ford dealer, told the salesman what I was looking for, and he said "Follow me" So I did. He lead me to the back of the lot where all the 250 pick ups were, and there it was. He gave me a price, I made a counter offer and we went back to the office to deal. I wasn't there for 45 minutes! In fact, I got the salesman to drive my van back to my house. I kept it too.
I really wasn't aware of what a find it was until I got ot home and my buddy next door came over and went bananas. One of the guys at work also mentioned that he'd been looking for a used diesel also.
The guy at the tire store showed me the 42" tire today, but he was telling me that I might be happier with 35" or 36" tires. He mentioned the body lift, and a steering kit, too. I think I still want the 42" tires. I'll deal with the altitude!!!
Hey, I also just found a 10 disc DC player in the console, I didn't know it was there until today! I had the darn thing for four days.
My wife wants me to leave it just like it is.
...and so it begins.
I just got my Ex back after a week at the body shop and tire shop. I now has a suspension lift AND a body lift. New tires and wheels, and I get a nose bleed when I climb into the drivers seat!
I feel like a kid again.I'll post a picture as soon as I can talk my son into bringing my digital camara back.

Yeah! I for one would like to see some pics. I have not run across too many lifted excursions in this forum.
What kind of lift did you get? What tire and wheel combo?

I decided to go to a little larger tire 'Parnelli Jones 36/14.50/16's' and different wheels '16x10 Weld Stone Crushers. I got them today and should have them on early next week. I may have to shim the front bumper out a little.
You can bet I'll be charging up the battery in my digital camera also.
