Does any one here have one of these? I want one but they are too short in length,...I have a long bed. If I put one on my truck I will end up with almost a 20" gap at the front. I would hate to lose something in there and have to climb in to get it. Thoughts?
I have one in my short bed -- I love it. I'm in and out of my tool box daily and it's so much easier just pulling a drawer out than climbing in the bed to get to a chest box. I have the original version and the v2 appears to be even better. I bought a cheap spider web net (Amazon) to use if I'm carrying anything on top that might blow out.
I feel like they’re a really cool option if you have a camper/topper.
The reason I say that is because I’ve seen guys put them in open beds and it takes up too much of the height to where it’s tough to put stuff in the bed after that since there so little bedside wall left
I like them and would consider one if not for the shallow bed it creates
I definitely like the utility of them and have consider getting one myself, but as mentioned above, the loss of bed depth makes it a bit limiting. It would be great if they could somehow design it in a way to quickly and easily be removable.
Where in Wisconsin are you? Pretty sure I saw a truck in the Greenville area that was all lettered up with Decked on his truck like he sells or either really likes them. Fly your helicopter to Freedom and pick me up and will show you where he lives. I have a soccer field across the road you can land in.

I have a dealer six miles away that sells them, or if you order direct you get free shipping to your door. I've seen them, just can't get over the large void it will create in a long bed. I do have a topper on my truck too so it would be nice to have this. I sent Decked an email last year in regards to availability for a long bed and they told me its not in the plans, and apparently they just revamped it and made some nice changes but still only 6.25 feet long. A lot of contractors have long beds around here to maximize their cargo room, hmmm what a concept. And I only land in a safe area.....not a soccer field.
I had one in my 2013 F350. They are very nice & well made. My truck was a long bed as well and I ended up putting a tool box between the Decked system and the front of the bed.
It worked well. They are pretty tall, so I ended up selling mine as I could not fit my dog crates with the camper shell on...
I’ve been looking at just the bed slide. Narrowed it down to 3. Decked bed slide is one, probably my 2nd choice. Cargo Ease is another, but I believe Highway Products is my preferred. All are similar priced and each has some pro and cons. If only looking at a bed slide, some brands are less than 48” between the rails, thus a PITA to haul plywood. The 3 listed are all wider than 48” from the correspondence I have had with each. Also, all 3 are designed for a long bed, 93”+/- long, that I have.
If not a lot of weight on it, I have a sheet of OSB in mine with hand holes in it. I can pull it out to get things that are otherwise out of reach. Cheap and does job for me.
