Only Motorcraft. And skip Amazon and eBay. Get it from a reliable source such as Dieselfiltersonline or Rock Auto or somewhere similar. Don’t cheap out!
$30 is DEFINITELY not real motorcraft.
I buy almost all of mine off amazon, but only buy from known sellers, Ford dealers and other oem outlets.
Motorcraft filters are stamped, frame filter stamped on the side, engine mount filter has the motorcraft number AND the oem part number stamped physically into the body of the filter, not just printed on it.
And, yes, newer part number is FD4641, older number is FD4625AA and it has the plastic support collar for the engine mounted filter for the 19 and older trucks.
Paid $59.49 shipped for the FD-4641 from Advance Auto, using their 20% off code on their website. Arrived within 3 days and was legit. That's the cheapest I've seen them yet.
I get my filters and oil from O'Reilly Auto Parts. Prices are OK, but more importantly you get free next day delivery on orders over $50. Wix or Motorcraft filters, Rotella T6 oil.
