Use Motorcraft or Racor (OEM supplier)fuel filters...don't gamble on the quality of lesser fuel filters.

Here's a good source as well...

Ford Diesel Truck Filters, Air Filters, Oil Filters, Transmission Filters And Plugs

The Racor filters are OEM but a bit cheaper.

I only trust Motorcraft or Racor (who makes them for Motorcraft) filters. My truck is too expensive to risk damage by trying to save money on cheaper filters. I buy mine at Diesel Filters Online, must cheaper than the dealership in my area especially if you buy several to save on the shipping cost. They also sell air and oil filters as well.

No experience with Prime Guard because I don't think it's worth the risk. If you keep you truck for say 300K miles and change your filters every 15K miles using Racor at current pricing you will be spending a whopping $700 for filters over the life of your truck.

Many, many threads in here about the importance of using OEM filters in our trucks.

I'll use the part that was designed for the application every time....it's too big of an investment to do otherwise IMO.
