Another horn question
I have a 2000 that someone removed and cut the wires to the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel. I have removed the airbag and found two wires also cut that go to the horn button (relay?) on each side. My question is what do these wires connect to? I think they attach to the steering wheel but I can’t get anything to happen when I touch them where I think they go. Fuse is good.

I have been in there on my '99 to install new cruise control buttons. My memory is a bit fuzzy on the horn wiring but I remember two wires connected to two steel bars in the wheel. I believe they are one side of the horn circuit. The other wire must come into the air bag module somehow. I can't remember the wires connecting to the airbag/horn button.
