Is it possible 21-A on vin tag is the date code for my truck? Thanks!

Yes, that's exactly what it is. Your truck was built on 21 January, 1952, in Chester, Pennsylvania. (that's the CS code in the serial number and production code)

DSO was Domestic or District Special Order, (both words are seen in Ford publications) the two stars is commonly found in that space.

Okey! Just interesting to know . I thought it was going to be a number for the area there the truck was going to be sent. Thanks a lot!!!
