Chimes, need hammer
Turn ignition off, key in ignition, doors closed and I'm sitting in seat. I get six double dings. Is it possible to disable that? Is that 'feature" the key in ignition reminder? It shouldn't be, I didn't open the door.

Interior lights turn on when driver's door is opened. The door switch appears to operate fine.

This may or may not help. The other day when I shut my truck off it wouldn’t quit dinging at me. I started it back up and off twice to no avail. I finally figured out my headlights had been switched from auto to on and being daylight I didn’t notice it. Turned them off and problem solved. I didn’t see a warning message on the display which would’ve been helpful, it warns me about everything else! I suppose if I’d left it the headlights would’ve timed out and shut off eventually or I’d seen it after dark.

I'll bet you that's it. I've bumped that **** with my knee a few times getting into the truck, and yeah, it's dinged the chimes. I just totally forgot about that, lol

I think I have it resolved? I disabled the key in ignition parameter in the IPC module. It does not ding when I turn the ignition off and the key is in the ignition. It dings if the light switch is on and I open the door and it will ding if I turn the ignition off, leave the key in and open the door. So, I think all is as it should be. Knock on wood.

While you were in that module, you didn't happen to come across a setting to manage that dang Collision Avoidance pop-up whenever starting up, did you? LOL
I've got that feature turned off, but it always shows up when I start up the truck... argh. It's not enough to just turn it off, but to be nagged about it every single time I drive is ANNOYING
