ok i know this is ford country, but i have to ask since it's showing up all over, when we service a car or truck, yesterday i needed to service two of the family's many brands of trucks, and by many i mean , dodge. fords, chevys gmc's toyotas' ,nissians,
tried to roll the the grandsons 23 frontier to set the arms on the twin post, for a oil change and wheel swap , trans lever in neutral engine off, can't move it, dang thing's is in park with the lever in neutral , had to start it, set the lift ,get in and shut it down, latter in the day same issue with a ram 1500,
nothing in any owners manual about getting into full neutral for service or how to roll a car without power, even about flatbed towing, i asked the body shop next door what they do?? we just yank them on and pray we don't harm the driveline ,
anyone know a work around so a new truck can be worked on or towed????
