I was surprised to see that my '24 F-250 CCSB gas has an overload spring.
I do have the 5th wheel prep, and >10,000 lb. GVWR (10,500 to be exact), but no plow or camper prep.
Is this normal? I wouldn't be surprised if it was an F-350.
Yes, four leaves. Two eyeletted main leaves, the thick, flat bottom leaf, and the single overload.
I had been under the impression that the difference between F-250 and F-350 was the overload, and that they both had two main leaves.
The 350 has 4 leafs (3 plus bottom overload) in the main pack plus a top overload leaf that Ford calls an auxiliary spring. The base 250 pack is 3 leaf (2 plus bottom overload).
