Steering box rebuild kit

How do I make sure I get the correct rebuild kit for my F-250 Super Duty 4x4 steering box?

The only way is to either count the splines on your current gear box which isn’t easy to do with the pitman arm on or if you have a vernier caliper you can measure the sector shaft size, 33.27mm/1.31” is a 32 spline and 34.93mm/1.38” is 36 spline.

Is this for your 2000 F250? Do note that there isn’t any actual rebuild kits out there, only reseal kits, if your box is leaking and is good other wise then a reseal will work, if your box is super loose or not turning one direction the “rebuild” kits won’t do anything.
