I posted this on the superduty site before I saw this forum

My 2016 bare bones f250 has a generic looking panel above the dash mounted cup holder, just a storage slot and coin holder. Upon removal of the panel, I see a plug connected to the back of the panel. Is this plug for installation of future brake controller and the back is just a convenient place to stow the plug?

I have a controller from 2006 f250 employing two plugs..... if the larger single plug on the 2016 is for a controller, is there an adaptor pigtail to be had that will break out the single plug into the two plug variety for use with the the 2006 controller?
