Angry TPMS Light

While I was driving in town the other day the low tire light came on in the dash. At first it was the cold messing with it, I live in Northern NV. Anyway I checked the pressure and it was ok then I checked for a DTC code but didn't find one. I took it to the tire shop and they checked all the sensors and they are working fine. I did a reset the in the BCM using the ford method of the brake and switching the key on and off but it didn't fix the problem. so, I disabled it after all I have been driving for over 55 years and never had one until now. My truck is a F350 super duty 6.7 XLT super cab.
Thanks for looking.

My guess is that you have a sensor starting to go bad, they usually have a life span of about 10 years.

Is there a way to test them, and of course it didn't go bad before I got new tires just before Christmas.

My sensors starting giving some false readings last year; wasn't always a consistent issue so I had them all replaced. Dealer didn't have to remove the tires; just pressed the bead down far enough at the correct location to do the replacement. The old sensors were original on my 2014 and had really deteriorated.

TPMS is a racket and a huge profit margin for tire shops, kinda like sodas at restaurants.

Disabling my '11 was one of the best things I ever did. If a person likes it, then by all means keep it. I don't miss it a bit on my trucks.
