Yeah, I don't usually buy from Rock Auto because of the shipping. Interesting, when I was at O'Rielly, they quoted me $16.99 for wipers. They were Bosch not AC Delco. I will be buying the AC Delco.
Howdy Tim, so what do you charge for your Air B n B?
Motorcraft it is for wipers then. Might as well keep it all Ford right? Wait, does Ford make tires? Maybe not all Ford, but close enough.
I will go to the repair shop today to see how close they are to finishing the truck. Maybe, I'll get lucky and it will already be ready. However, I would think they would have called to tell me that. It rained most the day yesterday, so I didn't want to go out in it.
GM parts work fine in Ford trucks. My fuel filter is also ACDelco. Both are OEM grade. And probably from the same factory. Another one of those maintenance items that I fall behind on often. Some people never change their fuel filter. I wonder if it really clogs. Is fuel really that dirty?
We changed my brothers fuel filter on his 2010 GT500 last week. He poured some visually dirty gas out of it. It convinced me that I need to do the same on mine.
Don't even know where the fuel filter is on mine. Might be a good idea to have them replace it. Went by there today and they are saying it should be ready by Saturday, depending on how much rain we get between now and then.
I cut the tri tip into strip steaks. Why don't I do this more often? Because I am lazy. But it is good. The poor man's version of NY steak. A simple cast iron skillet. Steak & eggs.
As Christina Ricci says in Casper "Over easy makes me yak." Steak looks good though.
Well, if the fuel filter is under the truck on the driver's side frame rail, then I will have to pay someone to replace it. Getting underneath vehicles is something I don't do anymore.
The problem with the OEM antenna was size. It would get caught in car washes. So I bought what was available at the time. It was just a piece of metal. FM reception was bad. AM even worse. A lot of static. Maybe this new antenna is better. Maybe not. There's still some static because of the overhead electrical wires all over The City. It sounds like there's less static. Or it could be me, imagining that it works better, because I don't want to feel like I wasted money.
