Diesel in 80233 went up $0.86 OVERNIGHT! Found one local high volume dealer still @ $3.03 and filled my 1/4 full tank. Can anyone justify a $0.86 increase overnight? I think NOT! Gouging exists - beware!
Where are you located? Enjoy getting RAPED? Sorry, I'm in a rage, but when I got my first vehicle gas was $0.25 and diesel was five cents cheaper than that! I realize that we have to live with current pricing - but there is no real reason for this volatility.
I use GasBuddy and Open Roads (TSD Logistics) to compare prices and shop around. At times the truck stop price can be better or worse. But with large tanks I can usually wait it out until the prices drop again. In the past this has sometimes saved me $30 to $40 per fill
up!
the local small towns around Cleveland, UT are showing 3.76 and 3.89
Wednesday I passed a sign showing $3.89 off I-70 and no way to get there.
stopped at Love's and even with Gas Buddy it was $4.35
I have a Phillips66 app which gives $0.15 discount, but no stations linked to it in Utah even though Ph66 says it works with Conoco and Valero... nope.
It's still $3.01 here in the Springs. Just look at the various prices around town. They can vary within $1/gal just in town.
Eswift is in PA if i believe, which has the highest rates besides CA. He isn't getting "Raped" and isn't bad considering PA fuel taxes are absurdly High. Fuel Taxes vary state to state, I get a better picture being an owner Op and having to do quarterly fuel taxes.
I just use gas buddy and find the current lowest prices and get fuel there. Someone will always be crying about fuel prices in one way or another. Try fueling up 200 gal's every day or other day in a semi, then come crying
Is it "crying" or is it being financially aware of the cost of living in 2024? I'm not attempting to be argumentative, just stating a different point of view.

Same here in Canada, taxes vary province to province. BC being the highest, Alberta right next to us being the lowest.

I agree Sous. I wasn’t crying about what I am paying per litre of fuel. I posted to put it into perspective that $4.00 per gallon ain’t that bad considering.
We each live where we live by choice. I could move to Alberta and enjoy the lowest gas prices in Canada but that’s not where I want to live.
