Dealer Dragging Feet on Recall Repair.
NEED HELP, Please.
I recently came into a near mint ‘99 F150, but with two outstanding recalls. After waiting 2-months for my recall repair appointment to come around, the dealer said the part needed for the above-mentioned recall was never ordered. Since, with me now thrice having asked them to get the part, they have still not gotten the part and have also been poor about returning calls. It has now been four (4) months since I first called for the appointment, and NOTHING. I would like to start enjoying the truck, but this dealer is a hold up. Where do I go from here?
Call Ford to complain and visit another dealer for the repair
Old recall parts are hard if not impossible to get
They should have told you that with a small apology
