Door component interchangeability
I've got a 1993 ford F350 XLT crew cab with two not so straight front doors. It seems that the PO regularly hit the mirror bracketry on objects leading to lots of damage to each door. The rest of the truck is pretty straight in comparison. Rather than do a bunch of body work to the doors, I'm thinking that finding a straight set of doors will probably be cheaper and faster.
Don't worry, I've already looked around and done my research to learn that for my 1993, I should be looking for 1992-1996 doors. However, the information I haven't been able to find is how interchangeable all of the accessory parts to the door are.
In specific, I've found a set of straight doors from 1995 that look pretty much identical to my own with the exception of the mirrors in that these doors have the two arm bracketry instead of the 3 arm bracketry. I'm fine with the mirror setup on the 1995 doors, so lets call this a non issue. My concern is that the 1995 doors have manual windows, manual locks, and no door panels. My doors have electric windows, electric locks, and the door panels that match the rest of the truck. I'm wondering if all of these things can can be swapped over from my existing doors to the new doors .
