I don't miss warming up and cleaning the car at these temperatures when I was still working plus the 50 miles travelling to and from work...lol

Evening Alabama, Steve and John. I have several scrapers and not sure where they are now. With remote start on the Escape and Range, I don't really need them. Typically two starts and the windows are clear.

Evening y'all.. A chilly night at work.. With the scare of snow and possible power outages the heaters and generators disappeared..

Joyous Sunday morning Alabama, Steve, John and Dixie Crew. Well the Soothsayers didn't mention anything about white sheet overnight and this morning. But we have it just the same and thankfully it is only about 3/4" but it is now back to 25°. Mom called and said she has about 1" and she didn't want me on the road. So I will be staying home and in for the day.

Hope everyone had a blessed day and Ma nature is kind!

Good morning Steve, Dennis and Rod. I keep saying I should invest in a generator but haven't, power is never out for long any time it goes out around here..

Good morning John, Ian, Rod and Dennis.. cold here this morning..

I keep saying I should invest in a generator and a propane heater as backup but always put it off..

My luck it wouldn't start when I needed it. I'd need to get an electrician to set it up so it wouldn't charge the power lines and shock a worker..

That is my problem as well.. those generac units are expensive and cost as much to have them installed..

Me neither.. I still think I need a propane heater backup, but have been saying that for years.. and maybe a generator to run the fridge and freezer, TV and a couple fans to circulate the heat..
