1996 single cab short bed f150. 700-800hp turbo 408w, e4od with some stuff done to it, BW1356 and 8.8 converted to disc brakes. Stock 31 splines, stock carrier, 4.10’s. Need a driveshaft to handle what it’s putting down. Yes I know my parts aren’t perfectly built for the hp i’m making. It will stay on the street and shy away from hard launches. Anyone know, 1, where to find a driveshaft for it, and 2. will the 1356 blow with that power in 2wd just sending power to the back? Not concerned with 4wd or front driveshaft, I already know the ttb wouldn’t even dream of handling it so no funny business when its in 4wd.
The rear driveshaft in my 94 F350 sled pulling truck is from Denny's Driveshaft. It has survived 4 seasons, and outlived 3 Dana 60 rear ends (now swapped to a 14 Bolt Chebby rear) and a lot of other components. I'd highly recommend them. Ill attach a vid of the truck to give you some idea of the abuse it withstands.
