Mirrors Issue

I just purchased a 2019 F-350 Lariat diesel from a private party. Truck is in great shape.and has a lot of miles on it, but from the looks of the body, under carriage and engine compartment, I don’t believe it’s seen anything besides highway traffic.
i have an issue with the mirrors, specifically poor-or-no response to the down and left adjustment button for both left and right side. I just replaced the control switch, but the problem still remains.
Any remedy suggestions would be appreciated.

Have a look at this video you may need to adjust the clips some where it pops in to the mechanism that adjusts.

BOTH mirrors malfunction utilizing the ‘down’ and ‘left’ arrows. I believe that both mirrors are original, so I doubt it is an attachment clip issue. That’s why I jumped on a bad switch, which unless the new one is also faulty, is not the problem. Are there any other common components between the switch and the actual mirror that you’re aware of? And, do you know if this is a common problem with the mirrors?

My 21 does it, both the driver and passenger. The down to a certain point and outward to a certain point. I just live with because once it's set, it's set. I haven't taken it apart just because I can live with it.

If you can hear the small electric motor running (in the mirror housing) while using the switch (either side) then that confirms the power and switch are good and this is a common fix on some trucks sooner or later, by cleaning and readjusting the three prongs that guide the mirror on the drive disc. Also if the mirror wants to move, sometimes helping it by hand will help. If there is no power and no sound, then time to search...fuse, loose wire, etc.

You don't want to buy one, I had a tires shop damage telescoping tow mirror backing out of the bay, they said OEM replacement on the 2015 was $800+.
