I was cleaning the door jams on my 93 f-150 this morning and noticed this sticker that says Canada transport in my driver's side door jam. I am intrested If anybody knows what this sticker means
That is a Transport Canada safety standards decal and it just means the truck would be legal for sale in canada. Do you have the history of the vehicle? Was it owned by a canadian at any point?

I don't have any history on the truck other than that I am the 3rd owner. I would love to get a marti report for it but can't see a reason to justify the $55 price.

ahhh. ok. my 88 was made in canada and has that sticker
At some point that sticker was incorporated into the vin decals for Canadian vehicles - 20 ish yrs ago.. afaik, It is no longer a separate decal.
CMVSS - Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards
I’m not sure what they do today, but there used to be a decal installed when importing vehicles to Canada privately by a Canadian inspector. And I can’t remember what it looked like.. there may have been more than one decal applied, and that may have been one of them.
The OP’s truck was made in the USA. That is not a Canadian built truck / VIN decal.
Examples of new vin decals. Any I’ve seen on newer vehicles, has it on the vin decal now.
Okay, but then why does it say made in the USA on the bottom of that vin label?
And, that would mean that original sticker the op posted was just a transport sticker?
If so, why the transport to and from Canada?
Something must have been made or assembled in Canada?
Maybe just the sticker was made in The USA
Either way
Chalk it up to the unions and the UAW for new vehicle pricing and Canada / Mexico producrtion
