The Prestone says right on the bottle "Sodium Citrate"; either it does not contain nearly as much, or the EDTA Tetrasodium makes all the difference.
You seem to know about this stuff; could I have mixed the Prestone with the Blue Devil in the same flush cycle ?
Reason I ask is the local store only had a single bottle of each and my system calls for at least two bottles.
I just did one flush with the Prestone, followed my many rinses of plain water, and then a flush with the Blue Devil.
It is amazing how much more crud the Blue Devil brought out compared to the Prestone; the Prestone being first, I would have thought it would have showed more regardless.
