Coolant Fill Type
I have a very small pin-***** leak in my coolant system, not enough that i have had to put anything in it in the past 6 months, but I will have to shortly. I need to add coolant to the system until I can replace the radiator but I am not sure about gumming up what is in there.
Will Motorcraft Gold be ok?

If you're going to be replacing the radiator and coolant this summer anyway, then for minor top ups (anything under a gallon total) until then its perfectly fine to use distilled water.
The 5.4L cooling system has 6.6 gal / 26.4 quart capacity.
