Rag joint that is...............screws that hold rag joint on seem to be going completely through the rubber layers when I tighten them . I will recheck them , but I THINK I have all parts on the thing !!! My have need a washer I may have left off ........Any thoughts ???
2X Dave. Did you buy a complete rag joint or one of those aftermarket rebuild kits?
I bought a complete coupler . Have not addressed this issue recently .
I am very busy , hectically winterizing my already rusted frame parts , and any other part that gets in the way...... .
It is so strange how my feelings about this truck has changed from wanting a simple , rusty/patina flat-bed to a over-the-top rusty/patina RAT-ROD , & NOW the more I improve trucks appearance , the more I want a quality , or even maybe a show quality paint job ......
I was confident I installed coupler correctly , but I have found other mistakes I missed so........My first thought was that I tighned the bolts too tight and they are pulling thru !!!
Anyway I will check more closely soon
