I started redoing my interior last week on my truck. I had looked for the correct door panels for sometime with no luck. It is a Lariat XLT truck and had carpet inserts on the door panels and they are not made in this style so I went with what I could find. I did replace my chrome trim on the new panels and also painted them. My old door panels are pretty bad worn down where your arm goes. This truck had sit for 10 years in a garage when I bought it a little over a year a go. I painted everything in the truck and also put in a new headliner. Since this truck had a bench seat and I am replacing it with Bronco bucket seats from a 94 Bronco. The back wall was bare behind the bench seat. I took left over headliner material and glued it to cardboard and installed it in the bare space. The only damage to my dash is just in the speaker grill area. I plan on just putting a 6x9 speaker grill over it. Waiting on the bucket seats to be finished being reupholstered before I go any further. I don't like the glove box that comes with them so I plan on making a full length one when the seats come back. Oreily Auto paint dept. scanned the back side of my sun visor and mixed the paint and put it in a spray can. It match's pretty good and looks closer in person then the picture shows. Also waiting to see how the seats turn out before I decide to spray the dash or not.

 

Look at any new car, the colors don't match in the interior on the different pieces sometimes.

I know on the older one the color was tan or sand where you could have 3 or 4 different color.
It is because the parts are made by different Co.
