Hey yall! Been a hot minute since I have been on this forum lol. I have upgraded from my dentsides, just ordered a brand new 2024 single cab F250 with the 6.8. I have 2 main questions before I go through with the order.

I got approved at 4.5% for 719 / mo on a black 4x4 single cab with 5000 down. Its a special order truck. I have 3 main questions.

Question 1 I know I want a level and 37's but i havent seen any single cabs with this setup only crews or really any 23+ trucks for that matter so if anybody has a 23+ leveled on 37's please send some pictures, I'd love to see them! Single cabs especially but anything goes.

Also looking for recxonendations for a level kit? Thought about getting just the rough country spring spacer but I have seen some really nice carli and bds setups on 17-22 trucks and just wanted some input. Trying to keep it under 500 bucks unless I go for a lift.

Should I option in the 4.30 gears? Running 37's on a gas motor. I know diesels handle them fine with 3.73's but I know somebody on here has a 6.8/7.3 with 37's and would have a good input on gearing. I won't be towing nothing more then my 74 F250 crew cab on my 24' Maxxd C5X car trailer. Total weight 2800 trailer 6500 truck, wouldn't do it but twice a year to Tennessee and back (500 mile round trip approx) unless I take my foxbody which is a paperweight. Which is why I don't feel the need for a diesel.

Any input on reliability for the new 6.8? I haven't got the chance to even drive one yet, there isn't a dealer within 200 miles that's had one in stock the last 3 months, so I haven't had a chance to drive it.

I'll be running the setup my brother had on his 08 6.4. Brand new 17x9 Pro Comp 69 with a 37x12.50 Ironman MT. I don't like the new 20" Wheels tbh. 17 is plenty and I feel is the perfect size for what I am doing. Daily driver, make it look cool, sit tall, sit pretty and might hit some washboard roads now and again but nothing wild.

Thanks in advance! Looking forward to seeing some nee 2023's on 37's. -Paul
Congrats on the potential purchase. I would say go with the 4.30s with a lift. That is a good decision. I think the Carli is a more expensive lift, but higher quality than the rough country. That being said, we've installed a lot of rough country lifts at our store and have yet to have an issue with them.

ordering tomorrow, got a quote today. Think i might tack on wheel well liners and upfutter switches, which would put it at $51,000 exact and cost 729/mo. Upfit switches are $165 and wheel well liners are $325, I had something else I think I added too but I could be wrong. What does priority code 19 mean?

I had 17” Method wheels on my truck for a while. The stick-on weights the tire shop used inside the wheel barely scraped the calipers when I installed them at home. After a few miles, they wore in and were fine.

I think 37s fit with a 2.5” levelling kit? You need to lift the rear too. Also 4 shocks, trackbar drop bracket, and caster shims. Just do the under spring spacer.

Thats the budget way to do it. And 4.30 gears for sure.

Don't need.track bar for 2" on a 23, unless your **** about a quarter inch axle offset from research. And they are putting 1.5 and 2 inch kits on crew cabs and they run 37s no rubbing. Ik the tires will clear. Just wanted to see how a single slab looked lol

I'll probably save up and get a carli or bds lift. For now though probably just the $50 rc level kit and the shocks so I can clear the wheels and tires already on order. Got some pro Comp 69's 17x9 on the way with 37x12.50 from custom offsets. Was gonna get my brothers setup which is the exact same but I decided to just get them new. Since it's a new truck n all lol.

Like previous years 37's can fit without any lift. Now with the revised radius arms and sway bar there is little to no rub. His wheel choice could change all that though.

I like the 33's but with 4.30 gears I feel like it's a touch small lol. I already ordered the 37's on 17x9 wheels. -6 offset. Should fit flush and look nice 😎

-6 will not sit flush and might require some trimming in the wheel well to avoid rubbing. +18 offset is the sweet spot for aftermarket wheels on these trucks.

he applied for a loan together with his father in order to leverage his father's credit score to get the lower rate.

I wish my dad was this supportive when I was under 20. LOL.

ah well I already ordered them, but i plan on removing the big 4x4 valance and either leaving it off, or get a tremor / 2wd valance. Idek what purpose it serves? My buddy took his completely off on his 2022 crew and he hasn't had a single issue.

his only conditions were that i work at a job 6 months or longer and make sure i have it in my budget. Check both boxes! I work for LineX of the Carolinas. So i can get a spray in liner and any towing / truck acessories done cheap, and i can do all the "custom" work to the truck myself, cutting labor costs so i only really have to factor in parts cost and shipping when i count my modifications. Its nice being a young gear head with a gear head father who taught him everything 😁 (idk if emojis show but it's a big grin)
