It's getting cold out so its time to make use of the newly rebuilt heater box, however I've run into two issues that I'm hoping you all can help me with.
I installed my rebuilt heater box and new "vinyl and plastic material" ducting from NPD this April and unfortunately after 3 months in the Vegas summer heat the ducting is degraded and cracked worse then the original 1965 ducting I took out when rebuilding the heater box.
1) Will the Woven fabric ducting from Dennis Carpenter withstand the extreme summer temperatures?
2) Since DC sells there ducting by the foot, how many feet will I need?
3) is the ID 2" or 2 1/2"?
Lastly during the rebuild I replaced the fan motor including soldering the original connecters onto the new motor so the wires are longer then the originals. It is obvious where the positive wire with the unique male plug connects to, but where does the ground get connected?
