100000 percent it is the blower motor resistor. It is like 19 bucks. Mine just went out for the 90000000 time. So stupid really. The ford part from the factory lasted 380k miles. I have seriously put 4 in the last 70k miles. Takes longer to pop the hood then to change it out.

Exactly what 450kexcursion said, mine lasted around 330k and just had to replace the blower motor resistor last summer.
The resistors are pretty stout, the biggest failure point is the plug connection to the resistor. I'd check that to see if all spade terminals are clean and free of corrosion and pitting. If the plug is really difficult to unplug from the resistor, than there may be corrosion.
