Trying to get a 1994 ranger back on the road. 2.3 5 speed. At some point the battery was shorted and the ignition fuse was blown out. Replacing that got it back running. However it runs rough and dies frequently.
The check engine light is on but pulling the obd1 codes with a paper clip isn’t working, the light just stays on.
Any way to troubleshoot the engine light? Id assume the computer is baked but I’d like some more reference before shooting the parts cannon.
