My Heated steering wheel is not working on my 2019 F350. The light comes on in the dash but no heat in the wheel. I had it at the Dealer and they are trying to tell me that my truck doesn't have a heated wheel. I told them it worked for the first year and a half. They say it is not on the window sticker but it is on the build sheet. My truck is pretty loaded with the Lariat Ultimate Package. Rain sensing wipers, adaptive steering, lane keeping, tilt tele column, front, rear and 360 cameras and according to me heated wheel. They said the module is not in its usual spot where ever that is but how did I have heated wheel for the first year and a half and you can still turn it on and off from center screen. I did notice that my lane keeping option is not working. Any help would be most appreciated
It sounds like you have a worthless dealer there, I would go elsewhere if possible. The module is located behind the panel where your knees would be. In the area under the engine start/stop button.
I definitely have to find a Dealer that knows where the module is
It's very easy to look behind that trim panel, but if it's true that the module is housed inside the steering wheel when Adaptive steering equipped, that could be a very expensive fix. It sounds like the module in that case is not replaceable, instead requiring a new steering wheel.
There are actually quite a few threads on the forum, many of them saying the problem was resolved with a new steering wheel. If you read that thread you would have noticed reference to checking a fuse too, fuse #37.
Does anybody know where the module is located for the heated wheel when you have adaptive steering and lane keeping options
Lane keep alert is unrelated to the location of the module. Post #21 says what the dealer told him and what the fix was on his truck with AS. There is more than one owner in the thread who stated a new steering wheel was the fix. Dealer should be able to determine if that is the case with yours.
