[updated:LAST EDITED ON 17-Jul-02 AT 01:26 AM (EST)]I just got my Accounting Degree, and now I am working on my BA in business management. I also work in the college library, and make a few bucks racing on the weekends when I have the chance. I went for my first interveiw for an accounting postion today. They asked me back on friday for testing in Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word so I am hopeful that means something. I really want to get my MA in business and then teach accounting and business management at a college someday.
I am a Field Service Advisor for an OEM of industrial blowers and fans. Large process fans with rotors up to 200" in diameter and 100,000 lbs. I travel nationally and internationally advising customers and their contractors on how to install, repair and or operate our equipment. A large percentage of my work as a company trouble shooter is industrial vibration analysis, in-place rotor balancing, laser drive train alignments and bearing assembly. After that, it all paper work and pretty boring.
i used to build and repair ships for the navy and merchant marines in Norfolk, Va. but now im a truck driver. i love the freedom of the road and driving some of the biggest vehicles on it!

Oh yeah...I'm a technical support rep with Dell. I actually talked to a lady once that complained that she couldn't click on something on her desktop. After an hour of troubleshooting over the phone I found out that she was using her VCR remote and pointing it at her monitor. It's in situations like that when I realize I might not be as big of a dumb a#@ as I thought :-)
