Still driving my 94 Crew Cab with the factory 7.3 turbo. Have owned it for nearly 17 years and currently at 334K miles, chugging along like no tomorrow. That said, it's time for some changes as I know the IP is reaching it's lifespan and still running the factory injectors (seriously). I'm looking at replacing the IP and injectors and also have an intercooler I've had that I would love to finally install. The main question I have is about what appears to be the only two options for an aftermarket IP and injectors. Have been following the Moose products for years and also the R&D products. Wondering who has used what and what your opinion is on the products? Prices seem fairly competitive but wondering about performance. I know with the miles on my truck, I have no intention of trying to build mass power until I can drop a whole new plant in it. It's a daily driver and rarely use it for hauling anything of any weight consequence. Tranny has been done with upgrades and billet convertor. Just trying to decide between the Moose products and R&D and looking for personal experiences and opinions. Thanks in advance and have a blessed day!
Thanks and looking forward to getting some info! Yes, original injectors with well over 300k miles.......Pump has about 170k on it and was just replaced before I bought the truck in 07. Pump may be fine but not sure how new injectors on an older pump would be.
Also, just spoke to a local mechanic that quoted me over 30 hours to change the pump, injectors and glow plugs with return line also.... that seems way overboard to me.

Don't ever go back to that guy, you can probably tear down and rebuild one of our engines in 30 hours...
I put in R&D injectors and a pump in my truck a few years ago. I can't remember which ones off the top of my head, but may have been one step above stock. I have an ATS 093 turbo and it performs quite nicely with whatever I put in. If I stomp the pedal it will easily push out some black smoke, which I try to avoid. Does fairly well hauling my camper around, almost don't feel it at all on flat ground. I have also heard good things about Moose products.
Why not use a local pump shop? I usually have much better luck going that way over putting on an over the counter reman unit. Only down side in my book is there is usually a waiting period.
