injectors?

i have questions about aftermarket fuel injectors cause on my last couple trucks i have done pretty much everything except aftermarket injectors. i have read that say in an ad fro injectors it will say 200hp/400ft. lbs. everytime i see injectors in an ad they always have hp./trq numbers after them. is that how much they add to the truck or what? i would never think that aftermarket injectorscould add that much power like a chip or programmer does? aslo for the 7.3 what is the best aftermarket injector ot buy which company has seen the most power gains. as of right now i only have a chip, exhaust, intake and i was thinking to buy some injectors next if you really see that type of power gain from them.. does anyone have any experience with injectors? thank for the help and my newbie questions lol

Your going to need a turbo to run injectors with any kind of EGT responce. Give these guys a call... www.elite-diesel.com

Talk to Tadd, Robert or Brandon if your thinking of injectors...

i was reading that but they said that an upgraded turbo would be better but not necessary they also said that about a whole new oil system and all that now your talkin at least $6000 just for injector back-up mods, but they said all that stuff would be nice to have but not needed but thanks for the help

Just depends on the size injector your wanting... a set of small single shots will run fine on stock oil and fuel...ok on the stock turbo...

ok and a bigger race injector will REQUIRE the higher pressure oil system and turbo and all those supporting mods right? what power gains are typical from injectors without running a new turbo and all that? say with the biggest possible injector before needing to mod all that stuff?

You can run a set of stage 2 single shots, about 175-180's. They will run fine on stock oil and fuel... Turbo is taxed with the stockish injectors but it will work for the bigger ones to a point.

Any bigger then stage 2's and you better have a turbo, and fuel system...
