7.3 idi injectors and turbo Questions??

I have a 93 ford f250 7.3 idi non turbo and im looking into getting a turbo for it. I was just wondering if it would be best if i replaced injectors when i do and if so is there any special brand that works best? Cause i know they don't make any kind of performance injectors for this engine do they?

Simple question, less simple answer. If the injectors need replacing, then replace them. Its best, (most consider mandatory) to change the injector pump and injectors together.

As far as performance injectors, yes they exist. The question is what do they add, if they add. Best info i can give you at this point is PM racinNdrummin

If your not going crazy on performance mods, you will be fine with a stock set of BB code injectors, and like Hairy says, do both your pump and injectors at the same time. Typefour has pop tested and matched sets, that are better than a "hope I got a decent set" injectors, and racinNdrummin can hook you up with a performance pump if you are looking for better performance, but a turbo and stock pump and injectors will make a huge difference over N/A.

Thanks guys!! I just want to make sure im doing things right and not gonna screw myself over. and im not looking for major hp or anything just something i can kinda mess around with. another thing that kind of worries me is that my odometer shows over 300,xxx miles but the guy i got if from had said that tranny had been rebuilt and engine had been messed with. And i believe it cause the truck runs super strong. But ive heard stories of these engines running strong in even higher miles than that! the only problem with the truck when i got it was the glow plug relay.
