I've had this truck for almost two years now and love it. 2022 XLT 302a package. I started getting the message you see in the screen shot a few weeks ago. I can probably easily get rid of it but I'm puzzled as to why it started to appear. I didn't change anything. Heck I don't even use the radio. Any ideas?
Also, my wireless carplay no longer works wirelessly. If I want the truck to connect to my phone I have to plug it in. This just started recently too and its annoying. My theory for this is that my iphone is getting too old and the truck has updated beyond the phone. I have an iphone 11. Am I on track with that one?
I just had the truck in yesterday for oil change, state inspection and to take care of some recalls. I ask them to make sure the sync is up to date and it is. They seemed to have no idea as to why these other things are happening so I thought I would bring it to the experts!

No expert here, but have you tried a hard reset of Sync to see if that solves anything? Sometimes over the air updates need a hard reset to get the whole system synchronized again. Hard reset is hold down the radio power button while holding down the "fast forward" button. Hold them until the screen resets with the Ford logo and then comes back.
I had a few minutes here this morning so I went out to the truck and tried this reset. Unfortunately it didn't do a thing. I even did it again and nothing. Still the same message, still no wireless carplay. Good try though. I appreciate the info on the reset for sure.

Did your phone do an update? Possibly that the phone bluetooth and/or CarPlay is off?? I have a Iphone Xr and have no issues with my 2023
Yeah, everything is updated but here's the poop. I looked on my phone and the bluetooth was on but the truck said is was disconnected. Ok, maybe it's because I'm in the house and not in the truck. I go out to the truck, sit in it and turn on the power. Still says disconnected. Could it be this simple. I reinstalled the phone in sync and now it works. It didn't take but a second and everything was fine again. I would not have guessed that to be the problem but, apparently one of the updates disabled the phone in the truck. I'm viewing this with cautious optimism at the moment and will go out again at lunch, give it a try and see what happens.
I get that message all the time too. I just press "Close". I figure it is because I don't always connect my Galaxy S21 to the truck. I'll try the reset tho.
Yes, see post #7. I simply had to reinstall the phone and it's been good ever since. No idea why unless there was an update in either the phone or the truck that caused the two not to shake hands anymore but, after installing the phone again, it's all good. Thanks for asking.
