I have never had a problem with my 7.3 and I've had it for 21 years. Recently when cranking up my truck it doesn't want to idle and almost stalls, I have to press the gas to make it idle, and once it starts to do it on its own it still sounds rough. When I get it warmed up and drive it the check engine light comes on and it runs beautiful. If anyone could help that would be great.
I have also replaced the ICP sensor (and pigtails), fuel filter, and cleaned and changed the EPS sensor.
We're the sensors replaced with known Motorcraft parts? You're going to need a scan device to really make any headway. I suggest you go to our tech section up in the stickies. Once there scroll down to the section on Forscan and start reading. Then pick up a compatible OBD2 dongle and download the app. It is the best and cheapest thing you'll find in the way of a scan tool.

Here's the issue.
That's what everyone says when they sell a vehicle. then all of a sudden everything starts going wrong for the new owner
as mentioned you are going to need a scan tool.
My initial guess is going to be injector related. getting tired but it could also possibly be partly due to aged glow plugs not heating it up properly for startup. but we can throw out all kinds of ideas. being able to read the truck will help figure it out
