V10 head issues

So I bought a 99 v10 Last night and I noticed some rust underneath but I didn't look at the moter all to well when I was buying it. It has a pretty good exhaust leak and I got to looking and all but 2 of the manifold bolts are rusted clean off on each side( was a plow truck). So I'm wondering what the best way to go would be? I do have another 99 that has good heads that has bad rings would it be easiest just to swap the heads out of the better set? Can I pull the heads without jacking up the cab? I do have a welder so I can attempt to remove the rusted bolts but they are pretty far gone and if I have to pull the head anyway Is it worth messing around trying to remove those bolts? It has 185k on it if that makes a difference. I like working on them and have 2 helpers to set the head back on gently. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!

I would swap heads and put new studs in before doing the swap.

So I guess how would be the best way to get the heads pulled? I don't have access to a lift so the cab will have to stay on. Does the moter need pulled out or can I do it when the moter is in there?

Never done it personally. I don't believe you have to lift the engine. There is just a lot of stuff to remove to make room for it,

Actually, you have to drop the engine to even get the valve covers off, if I'm not mistaken. I understand that the trick is to pull the pin on one of the motor mounts and lower the engine in the engine bay to give you enough clearance to get a valve cover off... I don't know if that translates to pulling a head, which is something that probably needs a little more room.
