replace 6disc indash w/ nav (factory)

I have the 6 disc in dash factory radio. Is there anything special I have to do to replace it w/ the factory navigation radio? Is there any extra components to nav radio or is all internal?

Replace 6cd w/ factory Ford Navigation

Hello. I understand that your post was quite awhile ago. What navigation unit do you have? Have you had any luck?

I'm wanting to put a factory nav unit into my '03 F-150. Any advice?
