Wondering if the fuel pressure regulator is possibly bad. There is a diaphragm in them but usually when they go bad the diaphragm inside them crack and cause super high fuel pressure. I imagine it could be possible it would cause low fuel pressure but hard to tell for sure.
If you don't know where this is it's that round metal piece with the red vacuum line coming out from the top. Pop that line off that top of that regulator and smell the line. If it smells like fuel it's probably bad. Do check your fuel pressure first though. I wouldn't think it'd be an issue but I wouldn't assume it's not causing issues either.
Does the truck randomly stall? Random no start? Will the truck act like its dead? Does the fuel pump run for more than 2 to 3 seconds when you turn the ignition on? These are all signs of a failing computer.
Verified fuel pressure with different tester but just doesn’t seem right I’m wondering if the valve on the fuel rail is bad how else could I check fuel pressure tap in to fuel line under truck?
Thinking back I had issues with it wanting to hook up. Might look and make sure that adapter is opening the valve and fully threaded on. Can't remember what I did to mine to make it work but it was something not hooking up right.

I always remove the Schrader valve when I check the fuel pressure personally. Then put a straight through adapter in its place until I’m done. I’ve also gotten to the point with these trucks that when things aren’t adding up I pull the computer and open it up for a visual inspection looking especially close at the three capacitors and making sure they aren’t or haven’t been leaking. Purpose being that it is free to look at and is often the problem. If you just start changing sensors you can open up a whole can of worms because we all know that just because a part is new that doesn’t mean it works these days.
I’m still fighting issues changed fuel pump and did find I had a short in the injector harness now I’m getting code 116 172 332 so code went from rich to lean lol and I still can’t get an accurate fuel pressure reading have tried testers from AutoZone and O’Reilly still don’t believe the number even after changing pump is there a tester that people are using to get a accurate reading

probably should of asked this first but just to be sure. you have changed the fuel filter right?
