1996 f150 5.0. Yes, I searched. So I've been battling this thing for a couple days, soaked it with pb, brake cleaner, blew the fittings out with air, hosed them down again, pushed the hose into the tool, and it's not budging. I'm thinking of cutting it out and trying to get the stubs out by themselves. There's probably a good chance I'm going to mess up the fittings doing this, can you buy the lines anywhere? I've looked but came up empty, unless I'm just an idiot and using the wrong names. Anyone done it this way successfully? Thanks in advance
Twisting, turning, pushing and pulling is the only way. Whatever you do don’t damage the fuel line. I repaired the nylon hose end on the Bronco II. It took me three kits to get it work. I don’t know if the spring lock type hose repair kits are available.
There should be a good used one at your local junkyard (cheap)
Been known to get real pissed with a few dentist pics and work the 3 tabs one by one to get the SOBs out
That is after you cut the SOB off
